ArtLab: Territories, Culture, Innovation
ArtLab is a independent platform dedicated to innovation in cultural policies, programmes and practices. A space for dialogue and critical reflection among stakeholders of the cultural and creative ecosystem and with other sectors of society, in a cross-sectoral and transnational perspective.
Born in 2006 in Turin from an intuition of Fondazione Fitzcarraldo, today it is a network of more than 40 Italian and international partners.
ArtLab Bari
The inaugural stage in Bari marks the beginning of the 2025 journey. National and regional programming for European funding for the 2021-2027 cycle are at the centre of the agenda, with a focus on Objective 4.6 and its transformative potential in terms of cultural welfare and participation models.
Alongside these themes, Bari will also serve as a platform to explore digital innovation and the application of generative artificial intelligence within the cultural and creative sectors; to reflect on the hybrid regeneration of public heritage as a driver for sustainable and socially impactful tourism; to delve into the strategic role of music and live performance venues as key spaces for cultural and social development across regions; and to discuss tools to support the social impact of culture, with a particular emphasis on marginalised areas.
There will also be a dedicated focus on the goals and intervention models of impact finance and philanthropy, which are essential for the transformation of the cultural sector.
