A cura di Philea - Philanthropy Europe Association
(English only)
As multiple crises have unfolded in recent years, the arts and culture sector has been among the most damaged financially, and its structural fragilities significantly deteriorated, while its value to society throughout these crises has been undoubtedly clear.
Philea and its funders’ collaborative on Arts & Culture invite you to shedding light on the main characteristics of European philanthropy that supports the field of arts and culture, its recent shifts, and strategies towards the future.
What does collaboration look like amongst foundations investing in Arts & Culture at European level? How can building relations amongst philanthropy across borders nurture the development of stronger cultural organisations at local level? Building on the collaborations stemming from the Arts & Culture funders’ collaborative hosted by Philea, as well as on key findings of the second volume of Philea’s research on 64 organisations from 17 countries, the session will showcase how the philanthropic ecosystem is a key ally of the European institutions to reinforce the creative and cultural industries.
Here the report "Arts and Culture at the Core of Philanthropy: Volume 2".
